Getting Through Together / Whai Ora, Whiti Ora Fund

Helping you to help them through – with up to $20,000 worth of funding.

Right now can be a really hard time for our communities, hapū and iwi. For those of us living with mental health and addictions challenges, it can be even harder.

We know charities and community groups across Aotearoa are already carrying out exceptional mahi/work to help our tāngata/people living with mental health and addictions stay connected, supported and informed during COVID-19.

With funding from the Ministry of Health, our Whai Ora, Whiti Ora Fund is designed to help you help them through for the next three months.

We’re currently awarding up to $20,000 each to charities, and community groups supported by charities, out of a total funding pool of $200,000.

Applications for the Whai Ora, Whiti Ora Fund closed at 5pm, Thursday 28 May 2020.

If you have submitted an application for the Fund, the team will be in touch. If you haven’t received an email noting that your application has been received within three working days, please contact Gina Giordani at whitiorafund@mentalhealth.org.nz
