Carrie started her career with a postgraduate diploma in magazine journalism, and since then her work has appeared in a variety of magazines, newspapers and websites. As a staff writer and freelancer, she has written on a wide range of topics from music to economics. Carrie has worked as a business reporter in the Czech Republic and wrote a regular magazine column while living in Japan. She found writing about social issues while working for The Big Issue, a leading social business and magazine in the UK, particularly engaging.
