Dean has a passion for consumer advocacy, peer support and the elimination of stigma and discrimination for people with experience of mental illness. Prior to working for the Foundation, Dean was a project manager for Case Consulting, a consumer advocacy organisation. Dean is also currently undertaking doctoral studies on the representation of mental illness in the media.
