Warwick Hutchinson
Consultant Accountant
Warwick began his accounting career in Hamilton with The New Zealand Insurance Co Ltd - Trust Department while studying for his accounting qualification at The Waikato Technical Institute. After three years he was transferred to the Auckland office. After further studies at the Auckland University of Technology he attained his chartered accountant ACA qualification in 1975.
Warwick then spent three years doing his OE, and has since travelled extensively throughout Europe, Asia, USA and Africa. Upon returning to New Zealand, Warwick held management accounting positions within various businesses in Auckland, including the wine industry, clothing, pharmaceuticals, publications and tourism. For 10 years he was also a partner in an international chartered accounting firm.
He is currently under contract to a chartered accounting firm in Auckland and is also enjoying his accounting role at the Foundation.
