Rawiri has an in-depth knowledge and experience of mental health and wellbeing, experience he has gained in various roles. As well as providing cultural advice and guidance to the Foundation in all areas of our work, Rawiri also has a dual role as kaumatua to the Werry Centre (child and adolescent workforce development), and as a project specialist for Te Rau Matatini (MÄori mental health workforce development). Rawiri is also project leader of the Te Rau Tuku Iho project to develop and establish the importance of kaumatua within mental health services.
