Foreword
Welcome to this fifth edition of MindNet. In this issue we focus on the mental health of young people, recognising the importance of ensuring the wellbeing of our tamariki and rangatahi.
For this edition of MindNet, we have deliberately invited a young person, Rachel Liebert, to write the Guest Editorial. Rachel is experienced both practically and academically in the field of mental health.
We also feature articles about the Health-Promoting Schools initiative, the use of process drama in working with young people, and The Next project, which utilises young people's interests as a process for engaging them in an exploration of the world around them. Articles on Youthline and Vibe illustrate positive initiatives for our young people.
I am pleased to introduce our new Letters to the Editors page, and encourage you to share your opinions and views through this medium. It was also great to have book reviews contributed for this edition, and we welcome further reviews from the MindNet community.
I trust you enjoy this edition of MindNet.
