Ageing and spirituality workshops - Auckland

The Selwyn Centre for Ageing and Spirituality is offering two interactive seminars on ageing and spirituality.

St. John's Theological College, 202-210 St. John's Road, Meadowbank. Parking is available at the College. Please follow signs to venue.

Module I, Monday 12th Oct 10am -2pm
Goals:
• Understand what we mean by spirituality
• Be aware of how we experience it
• Learn new ways to access the spiritual dimension in ourselves or others
• Understand the way in which our own state allows us to interact spiritually with others

Module II, Monday 19th Oct. 10am-2pm
Goals:
• Become aware of our attitudes to ageing
• Identify fears and resistances
• Connect value of accepting ageing, and potential for spiritual growth
• Explore ways to assist older people in our care to give expression to the spiritual dimension in their lives

Costs:
$60.00 per module includes light lunch, morning and afternoon tea, resource folder and certificate of attendance. Numbers limited to 20 people
